Kundalini Yoga is a spiritual meditative practice which harnesses the mental, physical, and nervous energies of our body to expand awareness and experience a higher consciousness and merging of the soul with our creator through the awakening of Kundalini. Kundalini Yoga is the path to discovery of our life force energy, or prana, as it is called in the yogic system. Kundalini Yoga uses kriyas, which is a combination of conscious breathing, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood to bring about this transformational change. A fully opened, pink, lotus flower represents an enlightened being.
